Autorenporträt
Julian Cloete is a physiotherapist, martial artist, and advocate for holistic healing with over 20 years of experience. Holding a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Pretoria and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mind-Body Healthcare from Auckland University of Technology, he integrates evidence-based therapy with Eastern philosophies to promote whole-body wellness.
Julian's journey began with a deep curiosity about why people with similar injuries had vastly different recovery paths. He found that true healing lies in understanding the mind-body connection. This realization led him to explore various therapeutic modalities and embrace movement as a tool for resilience, balance, and self-discovery.
As a dedicated martial artist trained in Shaolin Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chuan, Julian incorporates these disciplines into his practice, helping patients and students harness movement for both physical and mental clarity. As the director of The Body Workshop, he empowers individuals to move beyond pain management toward long-term well-being.
In his first book, Julian shares insights, exercises, and practical tools to help others cultivate self-awareness and healing. Through his writing, workshops, and online resources, he invites readers to embark on a journey of transformation by integrating body, mind, and movement.
