Third chapter is an expository study of the impact of Boko Haram insurgency in Nigeria, especially North - Eastern region. The involvement of women and children in Boko Haram insurgency is the focus of the fourth chapter. In chapter five, the book concludes with the analysis of historical data and findings useful for government officials, decision/ policy makers, scholars and other interested persons.

Dr. Moses Joseph Yakubu is a lecturer at the Department of History and International Studies, University of Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. He specializes on conflict and peace studies. He has attended both local and international conferences, and has published in several journals and edited books within Nigeria and beyond.
