Nyanda Foday (Author) >Joelle Avelino (Illustrator) Joelle Avelino is a Congolese and Angolan illustrator and animator. She graduated from the University Of Hertfordshire in 2012 with a BA (Hons) in Illustration with Marketing. She has worked with many clients including; BBC, Malala Fund, Elle Magazine, The Guardian and Google's Women Tech Makers to name a few. Her animation project with Malala fund was featured on Design Weekly's favorite International Women's day projects of 2020. She is also a teacher, a personal chef, a cleaner, a nurse and a chauffeur to her five year old daughter.
