This is my second book. Daddy's New Car was such a hit that I felt I should write another. Writing has always been my passion. In 1978, I married a sheep farmer and became a farm wife. This was a new stage in my life after working for the telephone company for twenty years. We all had duties at sheep-shearing time. Mine was to cook meals and break lunches for three days for the shearers, who were hardy eaters after the hard work. I could observe how dedicated Boots was when shearing time came in the spring. He was so patient and so well he could herd those two thousand sheep from the field and into the barn for shearing. This book I dedicate to my loving husband and his faithful partner, Boots, who he loved deeply. I pray they are together herding all those lost sheep.
