Economic growth in the border areas of the East Nusa Tenggara (Nusa Tenggara Timur or NTT) Indonesia with Timor Leste and the Northern Territory (NT) Australia was examined to examine the current situation and structure of current economic growth in the three regions. It is known that the border region has long been facing economic problems, both externally and internally. From the external aspect, it refers to capitalism and exploitation of the population and land. From its internal aspect, it refers to social and economic gaps. From the aspect of internal politics, the dominance of the elites denies the involvement of ordinary people. A delimitation is a boundary land. In the administration of the population, the boundary territory is defined as the territory boundary of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia and the boundaries of the neighbouring countries which are mutually agreed upon by Crossing Border Agreement between Indonesia and the neighbouring country.
