The manuscript carries information regarding Odonata fauna of northern areas of Pakistan (now called Gilgit- Baltistan). Thirty one species were collected under two independent studies carried out during the years 1994 1997 & 2006 2008. Authors worked together to explore Odonata fauna of northern Pakistan. Among them, Dr. Ahmed Zia did Ph.D in the field of Biosystematics of Zygoptera. He work at National Insect Museum, Islamabad. While Mr. Zaffar J. Awan and Zakir H. Astori worked on Taxonomy of Odonata. They are working at Agriculture departments of AJ&K and Gilgit respectively.
