Elcin Celik earned Master of Science degree in Department of Sociology at Western Kentucky University. Her main interests are ethnic conflict, genocide, multiculturalism, ethnic minorities, social inequality, and social movements. She is currently PhD student in Department of Sociology at Hacettepe University in Turkey.
