Botswana Educational Leadership and Management This book examines the nature and form of leadership and management training provided for secondary school headteachers in Botswana because since the implementation of the RNPE (1994) IN 1996 there have been massive changes. Some of these changes are; 100% progression from Standard 7 to Form 1; increase of both teachers, and students' needsand more school building projects. The findings in this book indicate that implementation of the current education policy has resulted in changes that have increased headteachers' tasks and have exposed weaknesses in their training on leadership and management. They are not trained because there is no national training policy for them The book concludes that policy is necessary to mitigate headteachers training on leadership and training.
