This research review report tries to highlight the major research activities in this field of study that includes: the theory, different types of receptivity, its effect in three-dimensional boundary layers and receptivity at high speeds.

Dr. Mohsen Jahanmiri is a faculty member of Shiraz University of Technology. He holds Bsc. Eng., M.E. and PhD degrees in Aerospace Engineering from India. He has 27 years of academic and industry job experience. He published more than 50 journal/conference papers,research reports and articles. He edited 8 books in Persian and 6 books in English.
