Binder of sperm proteins (BSP) are the major proteins characterized by their binding ability to heparin. Much less research work has been carried out on Binder of sperm proteins in buffalo. This study was carried out to confirm the presence of BSP A3like proteins in buffalo. The localisation of BSP A3 like protein of buffalo on spermatozoa was found to be similar to that in bovine. This book provides a detailed review on Binder of sperm proteins and methods for production, characterisation and purification of recombinant protein in prokaryotic system.
