I explain what firearms interest me and discuss firearms in my collection. I have restored firearms for the last 25 years. I am accomplished at rust bluing and stock restoration. I discuss the three rules I use to pick a good candidate for firearm restoration. I have provided detailed pictures of a few of my restorations.

I am the eldest of five children. I grew up in southern Maine. We were not a wealthy family but rich when money is taken out of the equation. I grew up in the country playing sports, hunting, and fishing. I am a Navy veteran and Civil Service retiree. I am a dealer and collector of firearms. I am an accomplished restorer of firearms focused on rust bluing and stock restoration using only hand methods. I built most of my house myself. I designed and built a timber frame addition to my house by the traditional mortise and tenon method. I am a father of two sons and I have three beautiful grandchildren. I have a lovely lady as my life partner.
