Anne Schroeder writes about women and minorities of the American West. Her writing awards include the LAURA Short Fiction Award, and Will Rogers Medallion Finalist Award for Maria Inés, a California Indian in the Spanish Mission era. She lives in Oregon with her husband and Labs.
