The exploration of brachial plexus pathologies has long remained the prerogative of electromyography. Progress in imaging and particularly MRI has made it possible to participate in its evaluation. It has emerged as the method of choice because of its excellent contrast resolution and the possibility of a multiplanar study.Precise exploration of the brachial plexus in MRI is based on knowledge of its anatomy, adapted exploration plans and the main sequences. Its evaluation remains a challenge for the clinician and the radiologist. This work focuses mainly on the technical side, by assisting in the technical handling of certain MRI scans performed at the medical imaging departments of the Ben Arous Trauma and Burn Center in Tunisia and with the help of a literary review.
