Pharmacology is a basic science. It is the backbone of rational medical practice. Neuropharmacology is essential part of therapeutics. "Neurodegeneration" is the broad term for the progressive loss of structure or function of neurons, including death of neurons. In this book evaluation of antiparkinsonian activity against haloperidol-induced parkinsonism (Catalepsy), anticonvulsant activity in MES, PTZ and INH induced convulsions, antialzheimer, antidepressant and analgesic potentials of herbal drugs in Wistar rats and Albino mice are explained.
