Cristal Lynn Cook, LCSW creció en Mancos, Colorado, cuya población era de 1000 habitantes. Desde pequeña, a Cristal le apasionaba rescatar animales y crear aventuras. Su trayectoria a la "aldultez" siguió un camino serpenteante que incluyó varias profesiones, de contadora pública a agente del FBI, hasta que encontró su verdadera vocación como Trabajadora Social Clínica Licenciada (LCSW por su abreviación en inglés). El amplio campo del trabajo social fue la respuesta a la naturaleza curiosa y alegre de Cristal.
