In the context of this publication, the authors seek to highlight a socio-cultural practice and an ancestral tradition that still exists in the wilaya of Mascara, and more particularly in Qariat Drawish (village Drawish). The issue that challenges the authors is that of Brayats Es Sheikh El Bashir of the Zaouiats Drawich. Several markers are noted in this study of sociological order on the one hand and anthropological order on the other hand. Brayats Es Sheikh El Bashir is the most important document in this study that challenges the social and human sciences. On the other hand, the authors address the issue of Sheikh El Bashir, the definition of concepts (the leadership of the zawiya, the Sheikh and social representations), the authority of the head of the zawiya, the place of Sheikh Al-Bashir, etc.
