El pastor Evens es graduado de la Universidad Estatal de Haití, del Seminario Teológico Bautista de Nueva Orleans (NOBTS) y de la Universidad del Sur. Actualmente es pastor principal de la Iglesia Evangélica Bautista Bethel y enseña en el centro de extensión del sur de Florida de NOBTS. Está casado con su dulce corazón Filise Jules.
