Autorenporträt
Rev. John Clark Mayden, Jr. is a Baltimore native. He loves God and has a heart for God's people. Rev. Mayden received his Master of Divinity Degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In addition, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Frostburg State University in Liberal Studies. Vocationally, he is a Prospective Foster/ Adoptive Parent Resource Trainer with the Baltimore City Department of Social Services. John has extensive ministry experience serving as a former Youth Minister at Loch Raven United Methodist Church and serving with local missions. His passion is to help both youth and adults to fully use their gifts to advance God's kingdom, and he has a heart to help those who are hurting. He serves as the Pastor at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Upperco, Maryland. He continues to love and nurture the congregation with joy and gladness. As Pastor, he preaches and teaches the unadulterated Word of God, while serving the local community. He is married to Kirstyn Mayden and appreciates all of her continued love and support.
