Sharmin Sultana is veterinair chirurg bij de regering van de Volksrepubliek Bangladesh. Ze werkte als extra dierenarts van 2011 tot 2012, en als dierenarts van 2012 tot 2014. Van 2015 tot heden werkt ze als wetenschappelijk medewerker in de MKZ-sectie, het instituut voor veehouderijonderzoek, Mohakhali, Bangladesh.
