Her debut book, Hallelujahs and Hiccups, 100 Day Devotional Journal was an instant success and received stellar reviews internationally. She is also a Content Creator and featured writer for YouVersion, the Bible App with several devotional reading plans. Kara Barker is a wife, mother and life coach. She is married to her college sweetheart, Lonnie. They are the proud parents of three children Marika, Maiya and Micah. Kara earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master's degree in Human Relations and Organizational Leadership from the University of Oklahoma. Kara's dynamic personality, creative vision and compassion for leadership, service and community is her passion. As a certified life coach and motivational speaker she enjoys empowering women to help them recognize their value while discovering their strengths and purpose.
