An experiment was undertaken to evaluate sixty one coriander genotypes in a Randomized Complete Block Design with two replications to study the genetic variability, heritability, correlation and screening for pest and disease reaction at Horticulture Research Station, Devi hosur (Haveri) during the period between November-2012 to January-2013. The analysis of variance revealed highly significant (at P=0.01) difference among the genotypes for twenty eight growth and yield parameters.Among 61 genotypes evaluated, the genotypes DCC 28, DCC 42 and DCC 57 were found promising in terms of both…mehr

The analysis of variance revealed highly significant (at P=0.01) difference among the genotypes for twenty eight growth and yield parameters.Among 61 genotypes evaluated, the genotypes DCC 28, DCC 42 and DCC 57 were found promising in terms of both herbage and seed yield. Screening studies for major pest and diseases revealed the genotypes DCC 5 and DCC 38 were showed resistance to both powdery mildew and aphids under transitional zone of Karnataka.
