This Latin text is a breviary, a book of daily psalms and prayers, used by medieval monks. The Breviarium Tullense was written by Peter Paul Rubens, the famous Baroque artist, and is one of the few surviving examples of his literary work. This edition was published in 1745 and includes a beautiful frontispiece engraved by Bernard Picart. This book is a rare and valuable artifact of European literary and religious history.
