Brian Gartland (born November 4, 1986 in Dublin, Ireland) is an Irish footballer who is currently playing in Northern Ireland for IFA Premiership club Portadown. Gartland plays as a central defender. Gartland began his senior career at Bray Wanderers and was one of Bray's promising young players and was voted Bray Wanderers' Under-21 player of the Year for 2006. He had yet to make a competitive first team appearance for Bray at this stage (made his debut for Bray first team in a friendly against Livingston Fc from Scotland in July 2006) and in February 2007 he had interest coming from Shelbourne. He took the opportunity to join Shels and he signed for the Tolka Park side on February 27, 2007.
