Bridelia ferruginea and Diaminazene aceturate have been recorded to have purgative effect, reduce microbial proliferation, combat inflammation and trypanocidal respectively. Therefore, a combination therapy of the two drugs will be effective in ameliorating the reproductive disorders induced by trypanosomes for livestock farmers in the sub-Saharan Africa.
