Autorenporträt
Francesc Nel·lo Deakin was born on February 25, 1997, in Melbourne, Australia, to a Spanish father and an Australian mother. He grew up in Barcelona, where he began dancing at age 8. He attended several schools, including the Conservatori Professional de Dansa in Barcelona, the Koninklijke Balletschool van Antwerpen, and the Hamburg Ballettschule des Hamburg Ballett. Francesc returned home to dance with the young company ITDansa before moving to Wiesbaden, where he spent four years as a member of the Hessisches Staatsballett. A regular contributor to Springback Magazine, Francesc also won the Premi Alba Sant Jordi for short fiction in Catalan. He lives in Bielefeld with his fiancée, who is also a dancer.
