'Bright Night of Light' is a collection of 87 poems drawn from hundreds. Some are recent, while others were written years before. However, themes and motifs remain consistent, apart from apparent changes in style. This is because many experiences provoked from beyond our familiar notions of reality began early in the author's life. And it is these experiences that are often referenced, along with insights popping up here and there down the avenue of time. In a sense, this tome is a collection of small journeys whereby cultural conditioning and its rules of engagement vanish. Gone are numerous conceptual anchors limiting one's engagement with life's mysteries, with its infinite intelligence, and with its awareness of personal self as One Indivisible Self. Much of what we'd assume to be true is mere conjecture: imagery and verbiage churned out by the machinery of belief. This collection of poems abandons such limitations.
