Autorenporträt
Brigitte Niedermair was born in Merano in 1971, and has created iconic photographs focussing on female identity for over twenty years. Her fashion images are featured in prestigious international publications including the CR Fashion Book by Carine Roitfeld, Harper's Bazaar, Wallpaper*, Dior Magazine, W, Citizen K, and Vogue Italia. Her monographic exhibitions include Somewhere, Stadtgalerien Schwaz (2007); Madame Hirsch, Museion, Bolzano (2009); Holy Cow, Foto-Forum, Bolzano (2009); Sister, Galleria Galica, Milan (2009); Let's Get Married, A38 Cultural Center, Budapest (2011); Horizon, Transition: Giorgio Morandi - are you still there, MAMbo Museo Morandi, Bologna (2015); Screenshot (with Martino Gamper), One Poultry ?
