Andreas Markantonatos, Ph.D. (2001), University of Oxford, is Professor of Greek in the Department of Philology at the University of the Peloponnese. He has published widely on Greek drama including Euripides' Alcestis: Narrative, Myth, and Religion (Walter de Gruyter, 2013). He is the editor of Brill's Companion to Sophocles (Brill, 2012).
