The author is a fourth generation Australian. He has been married for almost 23 years to Anna. They have two daughters, Bella and Camille. He grew up in country NSW, Australia in the 1970s. Bristles and Thel is a story based on a real dog and a real person, using their real names. Even though Bristles and Thel are long gone, it gives the author a great thrill that they get to live on, even if it is only in the minds of the readers.
