Autorenporträt
David Gowland was the founder and first director of the School of Contemporary European Studies at the University of Dundee where he was also head of the History Department. He has written extensively about the history of European integration and especially about Britain and the European Union. Arthur Turner was a lecturer at the University of Dundee from 1968-2005. He has written a number of books and articles on different aspects of British foreign policy and international relations in the twentieth century. Alex Wright Lectures on EU, UK and Scottish politics at the University of Dundee where he has written extensively on devolution and the EU. He was a member of the Scottish Consumer Council and acted as an Assessor for the Commissioner for Public Appointments Scotland.
