Andreas John Louis Constandinos nació en Londres y es de ascendencia galesa, chipriota y alemana. Entre 2005 y 2008 realizó una investigación sobre la crisis de Chipre de 1974 en la Universidad de East Anglia, donde, en el verano de 2008, completó su doctorado en Historia Europea Moderna. Su tesis doctoral ha sido publicada desde entonces.
