Non-starch polysaccharides (NSPs) are not completely digested by broiler endogenous enzymes and subsequently the soluble NSPs in feed results in high digesta viscosity and poor retention of nutrients.Addition of NSPs digesting enzymes release the nutrients from feed and reduce the anti-nutritional effects of NSP's. A total of 240 day old broiler chicks (Hubbard) were categorized into 8 treatments and each treatment was having three replicates with 10 birds in each. Dietary treatments comprised of Basal diet (2740 Kcal /Kg) as T1, low energy diet (2630 Kcal /kg) along with the supplementation of different levels of NSPs digesting multi-enzymes and Citric acid alone and in combination. Enzymes supplementation showed significant (P 0.05) on feed intake and FCR which showed positive effects of enzymes in Low Caloric feed. This was observed that the supplementation of organic acid in combination with NSPs multi-enzymes pronounced their effect on broiler performance while comparing it with low energy diet,as organic acid lowered the pH of digestive tract and favor enzyme action.
