Poultry production in broilers production suggested to several determinants to improve the production among the farmers in Kitunda ward and in Tanzania as a whole. This book identifies the major determinants of chicken production, opportunities of poultry production and value of poultry sales. The major determinants are the amount of chicken sold in one production year channeled through the number of years in chicken keeping (experience), the total cost used in chicken production and the total interest borrowed with farmer in month and direct income received after selling of the commodity from farmers to consumers and deducts total cost encountered during operation. Therefore, recommended policy to establish in order to accelerate agricultural development in poultry production and marketing successful if the aforementioned determinants for the chicken production are taken in to consideration.

Sr. Timothy Martin Lyanga, autor y profesor asistente de la Open University of Tanzania (OUT), actualmente estudiante de doctorado en el área de Economía. Tiene una Maestría en Administración de Empresas (2011) de OUT en Tanzania después de graduarse de Licenciatura en Economía en OUT (2006). El autor ahora se desempeña como académico en OUT y coordina la Maestría en Economía.
