Muriel Canfield has a heart for battered women. Besides doing volunteer counseling at a battered women's shelter, she has co facilitated a support group and served as a court advocate for battered women. As founder of several Alcoholics Victorious groups, she has worked extensively with disturbed and abused women. Among the books she has authored are Broken and Battered, I Wish I Could Say I Love You and A Victorian Marriage, and she has had articles published in numerous magazines. Muriel has appeared on the 700 Club and the Praise the Lord show.
