E. G. Miller is the fourth of nine children, bible born and bred, to God-fearing parents in a small Midwestern city in Illinois. When the fears instilled in her to remain silent by abusers became overwhelming from the unspeakable experiences she endured and could no longer be contained in her frail frame, she developed an enthusiastic zeal for writing. Through writing, she found the courage to break the silence.
