Autorenporträt
Award-winning author Melody Dean Dimick, a former high school English teacher at Northern Adirondack Central School and adjunct communication lecturer at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, serves as the president of the Florida Writers Foundation. She is a member of the Florida Writers Association (FWA), the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Florida State Poets Association (FSPA), the Florida Authors and Publishers Association (FAPA), and the Daytona Writers Guild (DWG). Her works appear in several FWA collections. Melody serves on the board of the Daytona Writers Guild (DWG) and has won two DWG Excellence in Arts Awards.Melody speaks in schools and at conferences, conducts writing workshops, and serves on panels across the state of Florida. Her previous novels include Silent Screams, Sinister Silence, Blame, Cat Girl, and No Parents Allowed. Melody's play Ain't It a Shame and her book of poetry titled Backpack Blues: Ignite the Fire Within are also available through Taylor and Seale Publishing and Amazon.
