Phoebe Li-Yen Yong, age 11, is a Year 6 student at Taylor's International School, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In Year 5, she received an award for "Excellence in English." She is the younger sister to a musically-talented sister, Kimberly; a daughter to an event-planning mother, Joanne and a "head-hunting" father, Victor. She loves reading, writing, drawing, spending hours on electronic gadgets, collecting squishies and beautiful pop-up books, snorkelling and dogs! Brotino The Legendary Crab is her debut story book for children. She aspires to be a writer and an illustrator. Phoebe lives in Kuala Lumpur with her family and two pet turtles (and dreams of having a pet dog someday!).
