Børre Rognlien (born 26 December 1944) was a Norwegian sports official and politician for the Conservative Party. He started his career as a journalist and military officer. He is best known for administrating speed skating, and as a politician he has been a member of the Parliament of Norway. He was born in Hurdal as a son of shopowners Bjarne Rognlien (1914 1988) and Annie Hagen (1916 1989). He started his career in the press, with a time as apprentice in Eidsvold Blad from 1963 to 1964 and journalist in United Press International from 1964 to 1966.
