António Bruno Mendes Teixeira (born 8 October 1982 in Porto) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Amarante F.C. as a forward. Teixeira never played in higher than the third division in his country, his first club being Vilanovense F.C. in precisely that level. In the 2005 summer, he signed for Forest Green Rovers in England following an impressive trial, being recommended to manager Gary Owers by Yeovil Town boss Gary Johnson.
