This work was embarked upon with a view to determining the trend in the growth of Anambra State revenue over the years. Designed essentially as a descriptive survey, it is an ex-post-facto study.Time series analysis was the tool for data analysis. The study showed that there was a mismatch between planned expenditure with remarkably high values with actual revenue as it was observed in the Anambra State budget.The trend in growth of actual expenditure over the period(1991-2003)was upward sloping,rising slowly and steadily and that of actual revenue was upward sloping,rising sharply at first, then following an irregular pattern as it progresses.…mehr

Chinyere Charity Okeke graduated from university of Nigeria Nsukka with a B.Agric(agriculturalextension)in 1995. She holds her M.Sc in Economics from Nnamdi azikiwe university awka,Anambra state,Nigeria.she is currently running a Ph.D in Agricultural Economics at the university of Nigeria,Nsukka and a lecturer at Nnamdi azikiwe university Awka.
