Besides Live the Good Life in Asheville, Sluder wrote Amazing Asheville, Fodor's Belize, Move to Asheville, Asheville: Relocation, Retirement and Visitor Guide, Easy Belize, Bug Out to Belize, Frommer's Beach Vacations: The Carolinas and Georgia, Fodor's The Carolinas & Georgia (co-author) and others. He also has written books on classic Rolls Royce and Bentley motorcars, the 25 most intriguing private eyes and the game of bridge, authoring Buy a Classic Rolls-Royce or Bentley, Murder! and Play Bridge Today.
