During this time, I tried to find out what reasons the brave inhabitants might have to invest in their houses with sometimes very little resources, while living in insecurity.

Alexandra Groen conducted research in Bangkok, Thailand, for her bachelor thesis in Urban Planning. She is currently a Msc. student in Urban planning at the University of Amsterdam.
