Kate Pennington launched the registered charity Beyond A Joke Ltd in her brother's memory to help victims of bullying. With qualifications and experience in childcare, she is also the author of a series of children's books that contain important messages about acceptance, kindness, respect and anti-bullying. Her vision is to build Empowerment centres Australia-wide where anyone suffering from bullying can seek safety and assistance.
