These are the times to cherish, reflect on, build upon, and sometimes, are a catalyst for moving on. Bumpy Roads reminds us that life is unpredictable and change, inevitable-new faces, places, and unique experiences. Life can be embarrassing, demanding, challenging, yet rewarding. We largely decide our own destiny by the directions we decide to take. This book sets out to entertain the reader, yet provoke thought. It is my hope that you, the reader, will enjoy these stories.

Autorenporträt
As a friend and former workmate, I have known Brian for over thirty years. We have shared some of the same interests such as tramping in the New Zealand Southern Alps and a passion for serving our workmates as workplace delegates.Brian has accounting and management qualifications and an MA(honours) in psychology and has used this knowledge to good advantage in his work and personal life. After Brian retired, I expected him to do the usual things such as lawn bowling and gardening. I never expected him to write books. Brian's first four books were well written short stories using his experiences in life such as the Christchurch earthquakes, mountain adventures and overseas travel through the Pacific, Europe and Asia. Brian has now also written four novels and with ten grandchildren has also found time to write three children's books.I am very impressed with how his writing style has developed in these novels.Andrew Thirringwebsite: brian-d-wilson.com
