This study aims to fill the gap in our literature on cultural history by providing a general overview of the history of Buridanism in Poland during the pre-Copernican period. In the context of this intellectual current, an outline of the history of the mathematical-astronomic sciences is offered. These observations, in turn, lead to a series of philosophical and astronomical assumptions which, for the young Nicolaus Copernicus, could be the trigger for the greatest change in the history of human thought: the Copernican Revolution. This book was translated with artificial intelligence.
