Steve is a first-time author with a lifelong appreciation for meaningful stories that inspire imagination and creativity. Now an empty-nester, he was encourage by his children to publish the stories he made up for them while they were growing up. His desire is to provide opportunities for families to grow closer together through conversation related to the characters and their experiences in his stories.Steve has had a rich history of life experiences to draw on in his story telling having worked as a landscaper, artist-blacksmith, business owner, and marketing executive. He has a CD of original fingerstyle guitar instrumentals titled 'Impressions' available on popular streaming services. He and his wife Mary co-wrote and acted in a Christmas Dinner Theater production titled "The Buzz in Bethlehem" which Mary directed. The drama was produced and supported by over 120 volunteers from Walnut Hill Bible Church in Baraboo and played to sell-out audiences for 14 years from 2004 to 2018 with performances held the first two weeks each December. When not immersed in creative endeavors, Steve enjoys endurance road biking and playing card or board games. He and Mary live in rural Wisconsin, enjoy traveling, spending time with family, and serving their local community. Mary is the Directory of Children's Ministry at WHBC where they have both attended and served for over 30 years.
