Autorenporträt
Burnt Toast is the first book of Jim Bolton, a retired Administrative Services Officer from the Province of New Brunswick - Department of Natural Resources, where he served for thirty-eight years. He has an inclination for a "country style" vernacular in this novella. He lives in a small community in rural New Brunswick with his wife, Marie, two dogs and three cats. Their family consists of sons Chad, Cody and Kit. The loss of his son Kit in 2020 prompted Jim to complete his book, which helped cope with the struggle of this tragedy. His wife, sons, daughter-in-law Amanda and grandsons Grayson & Theo have been the uplifting reinforcement in continuing with his writing aspirations.
