In the untamed wilderness of Northern British Columbia, survival isn't guaranteed-but something worse than nature may be watching. When Dusty Sherant, a cash-strapped contract geologist, reluctantly accepts a job exploring mining claims for shady stock promoters, he expects trouble. And trouble finds him. Leading a mismatched crew into the remote wilderness, Dusty must navigate raging forest fires, a wounded grizzly with a taste for vengeance, and tensions brewing among his team. But the deeper they venture into the shadowy mountains, the stranger things become. Unexplainable events, whispered legends of a mythical "wild man," and a mounting sense of dread threaten to tear the crew apart. When tragedy strikes and one of their own is killed, Dusty realizes this job may cost far more than his paycheck-if he even lives to collect it. Adventure, mystery, and survival collide in a haunting tale where the wilds hold more than meets the eye. 4o
