Autorenporträt
Frank Sutherland Davidson graduated with Honours in Geography and later, a Doctorate in Australian Literature from the University of New England. He was the first President of New England University Dramatic Society (NEUDS) and acted in the University's entries in Inter-Varsity Drama Festivals in Sydney and Hobart. After teaching in High Schools he accepted a position at Wollongong Teachers' College, and later at Sydney Teachers' College, as Lecturer in English, Speech and Drama. To equip himself for this he undertook a year's study at London University, investigating 'Theatre-in- Education' work in English schools, for which he was awarded Associateship of the University's Institute of Education. Apart from a number of academic papers he is also the author of a lighthearted crime novel entitled "The Coral Airlines Mystery."
