New challenges in a business environment force every firm to adopt new business process models. Companies need to constantly improve their business processes in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation. Many start-up companies grew rapidly within a few years, forcing them to properly document their business processes. In the work at hand, key business processes of the logistics and transportation company G Transporte GmbH are documented, room for improvement is identified and to-be models are derived. Analysis and design is based on the Supply Chain Operations Reference Model (SCOR), the Responsible-Accountable-Consulted-Informed Matrix (RACI) and the Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0). Furthermore, interviews with experts in business process management are conducted to receive necessary recommendations. In addition, workshops are carried out in order to obtain insights in current business process execution.
